European Lidar Mapping Forum Presents Full Programme

The European LiDAR Mapping Forum (ELMF) 2014 conference programme has been posted online. The event will take place from 8-10 December 2014 at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. There are two ‘blocks’ dedicated to topographic and bathymetric Lidar survey.

The bathymetry presentations include on Tuesday 9 December 2014 INFOMAR as Ireland’s approach to Marine Mapping; a New Multi-wavelength Lidar System for 3D Land Classification and Coastal Bathymetry and on Wednesday 10 December Documentation of Flood-Induced Changes of Fluvial Topography Based on Airborne Laser Bathymetry, Airborne Coastal Surveys by the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration and  The Applications of Lidar in Coastal Zone Management.

The 2014 ELMF Programme contains full abstracts and presenter bios for the more than 30 presentations that comprise this year’s programme.  ELMF is a technical conference & exhibition focused on data acquisition, fusion, processing and point clouds for airborne, terrestrial and underwater Lidar used to support transport, urban modelling, coastal zone mapping, utility asset management and more, according to event director Linda Murray.

The 2014 European LiDAR Mapping Forum Advisory Board vetted all the abstracts to arrive at the varied, high-quality and topical programme.

Early-bird registration ends on 31 October, giving EUR200 discount. Registration is available online.

Co-location with SPAR Europe 

ELMF will take place with SPAR Europe, providing geospatial professionals access to the full spectrum of data capture, processing and delivery education at one time. SPAR Europe is a conference & exhibition focused on end-to-end business and technology considerations for 3D measurement and imaging for industrial facilities; building, architecture and construction; forensic and security. One conference fee provides access to both conference programmes.
