Expansion for AIRMAR Premises

AIRMAR Technology Corporation, USA, is reporting a 24% revenue increase in 2012. Matt Boucher, AIRMAR’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, stated that the increase in revenue reflects a long-term investment in research and development that has averaged 15% of the company's sales over the past ten years. This growth has prompted the company to expand operations by building a second facility totalling over 72,000 square feet.

Located directly across the street from the company’s existing headquarters, AIRMAR East is scheduled to be ready for occupancy next fall. By building all products in New Hampshire, the company has the advantage of having complete control of the production process and can react quickly to design changes and quality control.. The new building’s layout and production will be planned and executed on LEAN manufacturing principles, allowing for shortened lead times of products as well as reduction of waste.

In business for over thirty years, the family-owned and operated company has created a positive culture in which every employee is dedicated to the benchmark of customer satisfaction and product quality. The skilled team of scientists, multidisciplinary engineers, designers and technicians lead the company in research and development, delivering highly customisable products to the multitude of industries served. Currently, AIRMAR’s state-of-the-art facility, featuring acoustic test tanks, environmental test chambers and injection moulding equipment, is home to 210 employees in the capacity of engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. With the addition of AIRMAR East, the company is actively expanding its workforce including open positions for engineers, project managers and support staff.
