Field Development Technologies to Maximise Deepwater Production

On 9th and 10th March 2011, Deepwater Production Tech 2011 is to take place in London, UK. Technical VPs, directors, chiefs, superintendents, senior engineers and heads/managers of field development, field optimisation, deepwater reservoirs, subsea/deepwater technology experts will gather to examine innovative field development technologies.

Day one will start with an address by Graham Taylor, managing director of Peritus International Limited, moving on to a comprehensive review of economic challenges & opportunities in deep waters and HSE effect on technological development. Second half of the conference day will address the highly anticipated topics of well construction, drilling & completion and well intervention.

Day two begins with a review of deepwater production case studies from around the globe examining challenges, opportunities and know-how's that enabled to realise the most daring deepwater projects. This will be followed by a presentation addressing the advantages of FPSOs & semi-submersibles and power generation & distribution technology. The days' presentations will conclude with the outlook of the opportunities in new frontiers and challenges and planning for future environments.

Both days include panel discussions and Q&A sessions, which will enable all attendees to engage in a productive dialog covering the issues which are of the outmost interest to the deepwater production community.
