GPS-Synchronised, Solar-Powered Marine Lights

Carmanah Technologies Inc. has released the new 700 Series solar-powered lights, originally designed and built under contract with the U.S. Coast Guard. They were the first solar-powered lanterns using LEDs to be used in the U.S. Navigational Aid System. Models 701-GPS and 702-GPS are the only fully-integrated, three (3) nautical mile marine lights that can be Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) synchronized. Using an integrated GPS receiver, any number of 700 Series GPS lights can now be set to flash in perfect unison.
For years, the 700 series lights have been used to mark navigation buoys, port and harbor entrances and breakwaters. The ‘GPS’ series now offers the added capability of synchronizing lights in these and other applications, all using the same compact, self-contained, no-maintenance design.
