HYDRO 2011 Papers Call

Abstracts of papers for presentation at the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies (IFHS)' annual conference at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Australia from 7th to 11th November are now invited by the organisers, the Australasian Hydrographic Society.



Expected to attract a wide international audience drawn from all sectors of the hydrographic and related inshore and offshore professions, the three-day event will feature concurrent topical forums, an exhibition of equipment and services, on-water demonstrations, off-site tours and a series of social activities. Pre-conference technical workshops and application training sessions are also planned.


Scheduled conference topics comprise Hydrographic Survey Practice & Technological Development, Geophysics, Oil and Gas Exploration Sensors, Survey Platforms & Positioning, Electronic Charting, Coastal Mapping & Monitoring, Tides, Currents and Other Oceanographic Measures, Data Management, Practice Management & Recruitment, Education & Accreditation, Historical Marine & Hydrographic Charting and Exploration, Defence Applications & Personnel.


Abstracts of not more than 300 words plus one illustration on any of the designated topics or related issues are required by no later than 30th April.
