HYPACK Partners with Oceanscience Group
The Oceanscience Group has been appointed as an authorised HYPACK manufacturing partner, to further strengthen the available options for the Z-Boat 1800 remotely operated hydrographic survey boat. Oceanscience can now supply its top-specification singlebeam and sidescan-equipped Z-Boats as a full turnkey package including HYPACK software.
With a digital full water column echogram driver for the Z-Boat's CEE HydroSystems CEESCOPE or CEE ECHO singlebeam echosounders, the software interface brings editing and QC tools to the remote survey process. Operating the Z-Boat in autonomous mode, with robotic survey line following, is made easier as the HYPACK line plan can be uploaded into the robotic control interface with just a couple of clicks. With HYPACK's automatic start and stop "gates" enabled for soundings, the Z-Boat and HYPACK combination can run robotic surveys with minimal operator involvement while the boat is on the line plan.
