Improved GNSS Coverage

Veripos announces a major enhancement of its services with an increase in transmission power from Inmarsat’s Atlantic Ocean East Region satellite, resulting in fully redundant High-Power delivery of GNSS augmentation data throughout Europe, Africa and Brazil regions.

Running in parallel with Veripos’ existing High-Power satellite delivery service, the upgrade enables enhanced service reception in addition to significantly improved levels of availability and redundancy. The power increase also ensures improved flexibility and independence for users, who now no longer need be reliant upon vessel-borne Inmarsat reception terminals or mini-domes for accessing data from the satellite; instead, small omni-directional antennas can be used for optimum results and ease of operation.

Meanwhile, Veripos also announces an extension to its African multi-source Differential GPS network serving leading operators of 3D seismic, survey and DP construction vessels with the establishment of new reference station facilities in Lambarene, Gabon.
