IVS 3D Wins 2006 Business Of The Year Award
IVS 3D was presented with the Information & Computer Technology (ICT) Global Business of the Year Award in Bedford (NH, USA). The award is given jointly by the Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH) and the New Hampshire International Trade Association (NHITA) to recognise companies whose trade relationships (e.g. strategic alliances or sales) have created higher sales, more jobs, boosted their profitability, and increased the image of the New Hapshire software or information technology industry.
In its last fiscal year, IVS 3D has seen a 61% growth in overall revenue, with 84% of that growth coming from international operations. Fledermaus is now used in over 40 countries around the world, and in projects on every ocean. This growth has allowed IVS 3D to expand its operations overseas in Europe, establish a training center in Australia for the Asia Pacific region, expand distribution channels, and increase job growth both in the main offices and overseas. An European office and the appointment of a regional sales manager for that region in 2007 will continue the international growth for the company. Interactive Visualization Systems' (IVS3D) Fledermaus software suite provides users with interactive 3D visualization tools for data preparation, analysis and presentation. Users gain insight and extract more information from their combined data (data sets such as multi-beam, LIDAR, magnetic and gravity, in fact any surface data that has an x, y, z, variables format).
