iXBlue’s First User Conference
iXblue is to organise its first User Conference and Training event at the Sheraton Suites, Houston, USA, from 25 to 27 February 2013, followed by iXBlue product training offered on 28 February 2013. The conference will provide an overview of and update on iXBlue systems, solutions and field work with presentations and talks by experts on FOG technology, acoustic positioning systems and other key technologies.
The main themes for this event are Fibre Optic Gyroscope technologies; subsea positioning for Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (out of straightness survey, metrology, navigation at the north pole, dynamic positioning); ship navigation and surveys; and land & air mobile mapping surveys.
Customers attending will have access to iXBlue experts and partners as well as other users. They will have the opportunity to learn and participate in discussions regarding new technologies in the field.
The organisers are calling for industry experts and users who are building innovative solutions with iXBlue products to share their knowledge and insights. Professionals aiming to contribute to the event by presenting, are requested to submit their presentation concepts as an abstract of 300–500 words to [email protected]. Registration fees will be compensated for chosen speakers.
The first iXBlue user conference still has a few sponsorship opportunities remaining. Sponsors will have access to customers, systems experts and a range of presentations, discussions and white papers that describe our plans for the next few years.
Training
The education and training programme on 28 February will help users to understand the best way to install and operate these products. Training with an expert will help users to gain a fresh perspective and to optimize their work performance.
The courses, which are graded from basic user to expert level, are:
- iXBlue PHINS operation and troubleshooting (full-day course)
- iXBlue GAPS operation and troubleshooting (full-day course)
- iXBlue OCTANS training (full-day course).
