IXSEA Announces NIOT Deal

iXSea has signed a deal with The National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), India. The organization acquired a POSIDONIA and a PHINS for an underwater acoustic tracking system (ATS) project.
Prior to this deal, NIOT has already been a long-time user of OCTANS (IMO certified gyrocompass and full motion sensor), PHINS and OCEANO acoustic releases.
NIOT already uses PHINS on remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) projects while the newly acquired PHINS will combine with POSIDINIA on an underwater acoustic tracking system (ATS) project.
The OCTANS are currently being used for multi-beam survey while the acoustic releases are deployed in mooring for shallow and deepwater oceanography.
