L-3 Klein Workshop at US Hydro

Side-scan sonar manufacturer is hosting a workshop on Tuesday 26 March 2013 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM during US Hydro, to be held in New Orleans. Title of the workshop is Side Scan Sonar Record Interpretation - Targets vs. Noise.

Side Scan Sonar (SSS) has become accepted as a powerful tool for imaging waterways of all types. High-quality SSS can rival or even exceed photography, and it is routinely the first imagery instrument of choice for many search and survey applications. However, there are many sources of noise and other factors that can affect SSS records. In this workshop, noise and its causes are examined, and will be looked at some very interesting images and targets.

Please feel free to stop by US Hydro Booth 3 to learn more about the line of Side scan and Multi-beam sonar systems. For more information on the products or the workshop, please feel free to contact us at +1 603 8936131 or via email: [email protected].
