LinkQuest Receives More Than US$ 160,000 Orders

LinkQuest Inc. has received over US$ 160,000 worth of orders at OI2004. It received an order from Japan Marine Safety Agency for six precision transponders to augment an existing 60+ node subsea network for monitoring and predicting undersea Tsunami and earthquakes. Underwater Video Systems, LinkQuest's distributor in Australia, brought in an order for two high speed modems. One order is from Defence Scientific Transfer Organization. Another one is from New South Wales EPA for use with its Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler. LinkQuest has also received two orders for its TrackLink USBL systems from SeaBotix Inc. These systems will be used to track LBV ROVs operated by NIVA, Norway and an Australian University.
