MCS Platform Commander Visualises Inspection of Frigg-DP1 Platform.

MCS subcontracted by Sonsub Ltd. to take over the Data Acquisition, Data Processing & Reporting of the Frigg-DP1 Jacket inspection in the north sea 180 km of Stavanger, Norway.
MCS Team mission was to:

  1. Guide the ROV pilots in conducting a R.O.V. General Visual Inspection survey (GVI) & Close Visual Inspection survey (CVI) on FRIGG DP1 jacket.
  2. Digital video recording for the FRIGG DP1 jacket R.O.V Visual Inspection.
  3. Representing all anodes positions.
  4. Representing all events from the seabed inspection.
  5. Deliver the Final inspection Report.
  6. Deliver the Inspection Data in the ‘Platform Commander Viewer’ Software which combined all the acquired inspection Data:
    • Platform 3D Model
    • Digital Video
    • List of all inspected items (Members, Nodes, Legs, Cutting points …) linked to the 3D model, the digital video and digital still photos
    • list of all debris events at the area surrounding the Jacket base
    • log of wall thickness and marine growth thickness measurements.
