The Arab Institute of Navigation (AIN) is pleased to invite participants to its biennial international navigation conference, Melaha 2004. The conference will take place at El Salam hotel, Cairo from13th-15th April 2004. Past conferences attracted researchers and industry personnel from all over the world, including decision-makers from the Arabian and Middle-Eastern regions. The 2004 conference will focus on recent and future developments in the general area of navigation. As part of the event, an industry exhibition will run in parallel to the conference. Some of the conference topics will be: GNSS, Space and ground-based augmentation systems, receiver technology, application in maritime VTS, pilotage and ship berthing, general applications on navigation in restricted waters, electronic navigational charts and hydrographic surveying and data management.
Abstracts of 250-300 words may still be submitted, indicating the most appropriate session(s) for the paper. Send the abstract to Dr Ahmed El-Rabbany ([email protected]) before 15th November 2003.
