Multi-beam and QPS Workshop
Kertau-Safa Geoscience, EMR Malaysia and the Institution of Surveyors (Malaysia) are organising a Multi-beam and QINSy/QLOUD operations workshop in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from 21 to 23 February 2007. This is a classroom based course but sessions will be interactive with many opportunities to put questions to key individual presenters from leading industry players. Part of the course will be live demonstration on the survey boat at The Mines Resort City lake.
This is based on ‘first-come-first-serve' confirmation. Limited to 16 participants, 8 participants per parallel class. This course is designed to be suitable for anyone with an interest or a need to know more about the offshore marine operations, in particular hydrographic surveyors, engineers, project managers, geophysicist/geologist involved in the offshore surveying related projects, new entrants from other industry sectors and those within the sector seeking to acquire a greater awareness of this segment, or simply looking to update their knowledge. Also participants outwith the sector seeking to gain information on how the QINSy support multi-beam survey works.
