Multi-beams and Single Beams for Royal Netherlands Navy

Simrad bv has been awarded a second contract by the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) for delivery of 3 EM3002 dual-head high-resolution Multi-beam (MB) systems and 2 EA400 Single-beam (SB) 38/200-kHz echosounders. The MB and SB systems will be installed on the survey launches for assisting the two naval hydrographic survey vessels, which are already equipped with EM3000 dual-head MB and EA600 SB echosounders. The MB and SB systems will work with the third-party data acquisition software QINSy. Delivery and commission is planned for December 2005.
