Nautikaris Launches the Elkins Swivel

Nautikaris, the supplier of hydrographic equipment, Radio Telemetry systems and underwater connectors have launched the Elkins Swivel for world-wide Sales. The Elkins Swivel has features that distinguishes it from all other swivels making it an ideal instrument for long term deployment in seawater of oceanographic instruments.
It features a rotating spindle which is located exactly within the twin needle roller bearings. It is pressure balanced to ensure freedom of movement in the seawater. The assembly is made out of Titanium (grade 125) and is oil filled. The Titanium body will resist any form of corrosion and offers a better protection for your precious underwater equipment.
The Swivel was available in a 2 ton and in a 5 ton version (safe working load), but at this show we have also launched a smaller version with a 500 Kg (safe working load) model. All three models are rated to a depth until 6000 metres.
