Nautronix Appoints Operation Director

Nautronix announces the appointment of Alan Nicol as Operations Director for Nautronix Plc, the Centre of Excellence for Commercial Acoustics within the Group. Mr Nicol will be based at the new Nautronix facility in Aberdeen and have responsibility for the continuing expansion and delivery of the Nautronix products and services.
Mr Nicol comes with over 30 years experience in the offshore Oil & Gas and underwater Telecommunications Cable Industries. He started his career with Comex Diving Limited in 1973 moving to Seaforth Maritime Limited as Managing Director of their Dive Systems manufacturing operation. In 1995 he moved to Racal Survey Limites as General Manager of the Aberdeen facility and most recently held the position of Managing Director at MTQ Subsea Limited. The majority of his last decade has been spent in the ROV and Survey industry utilising technology similar to that provided by the Nautronix Group.
