NovAtel Inc., a developer and manufacturer of global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, has appointed David E. Vaughn to the position of chairman of the board of directors with effect from March 2004. Mr Vaughn has been on the board of directors since July 2001 and acted in the capacity of president and CEO from February 2001 to February 2002.
