Nobeltec Releases Admiral 7.0

Nobeltec Corporation announced the release of the second edition of Admiral. Admiral 7.0 is built on the Visual Navigation Suite and includes many of the same features such as the Nobeltec RouteWizard, an all new PlanBook and NavBar, the ability to easily create boundary or exclusion zones and a one-click Split Screen button.
New Admiral 7.0 Features Include:
- Multi-Monitor Support. Use a single computer to display Admiral on up to seven monitors. Use the View Manager to easily configure each display, making it easy to know exactly what's going on around your vessel. Configure each screen to your exact specification for a larger viewing area.
- GlassBridge Network. Multiple computers with Admiral can now work together to create a complete navigation network. The GlassBridge networking solution allows instant sharing of NMEA data, radar overlay, nav objects and even Passport Charts between all computers on the network.
- Comprehensive Target Tracking. See other vessels and potential threats instantly. Admiral clearly displays AIS and Radar targets and warns of the dangers they pose based on range, bearing and speed.
- New and Improved NavView User Interface. Admiral 7.0 includes the new NavView user interface mode which has been redesigned to make commonly used features more accessible and makes the menus easier to work with and provides better information read-outs along the NavBar.
- New PlanBook. Create and manage all routes, marks, tracks and boundaries in one place. All tide and current links are now accessible on a single screen.
In addition, Admiral 7.0 contains updated Tides and Currents data, which includes new and updated NOAA data for many locations previously unavailable. Also included are new and improved low-resolution 3D bathymetric maps, USB Dongle support
and simplified 3D Navigator mode.
