Octopus F180 now with OmniSTAR HP capability

The Octopus F180 Precision Attitude and Positioning System can now provide very high accuracy positioning from the same compact box.
Integrating an Omnistar HP receiver with the existing dual antenna GPS solution, the F180 is capable of delivering sub 20cm accuracy without any additional differential correction hardware. Receiving corrections from Omnistar’s array of satellites, through the same L1/L2 GPS antenna, high accuracy positioning is achievable across 90% of the world. In addition to the benefits of improved positioning, reliable and accurate differential corrections significantly improve the F180’s calibration time. Adding L2 capability to the secondary antenna further enhances performance of the F180, with faster heading initialisation and greater immunity to position drop-outs.
