The F180 is compatible with all hydrographic survey systems, including Simrad multi-beam systems used by C & C. With standard data outputs including EM3000 motion and heading strings in addition to TSS1 motion and standard NMEA heading and positioning formats, the Octopus F180 interfaces easily to all today’s multi-beam sonar. The Octopus F180 is a portable, one-box GPS-aided solution that provides accurate heading, position and attitude data. Quick to set-up straight from the box and fast to initialise and calibrate, it requires no user training and delivers data to the exacting standards required by today’s hydrographic surveyors, engineers and dredging operators, whatever the conditions.
