ODIM Brooke Ocean Orders and Service Contracts

ODIM Brooke Ocean fulfilled multiple orders and services contracts for the ODIM MVP (Moving Vessel Profiler) system.

The Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (www.fiskeriforskning.no/) had placed an order for an ODIM MVP300. The system is scheduled for delivery in October, 2008. The Institute is located in Troms and conducts research in the fields of biology, products and markets on commission from the fishing authorities and other clients.  The MVP will provide the capability to allow the Institute to obtain plankton counting information, as well other information such as Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CDT), while the research vessel is underway.

The United States Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), (www.navo.navy.mil) has submitted an order for an ODIM MVP30 System. The MVP30 is the second of the smallest MVP family unites that NAVOCEANO has acquired.  The systems are being installed on the Hydrographic Survey Launch (HSL). Valued by maritime interests worldwide, NAVOCEANO acquires and analyzes global ocean and littoral data to provide specialized, operationally significant products and services for defense and civilian, national and international customers

Western Geco, Norway, (www.westerngeco.com/) has submitted an order for an ODIM MVP300 System.  WesternGeco is the world's leading geophysical services company, providing a full range of services to the oil and gas industry.  The ODIM MVP300 will be utilized for advancing their seismic operation data acquisition capabilities.

The Swedish Maritime Administration (SMA), (www.sjofartsverket.se/) has placed an order for the ODIM MVP30-350.  This was a major milestone as the MVP30-350 was recently introduced to the market to complete ODIM MVP family of products.  The MVP30-350 fits nicely between the performance capabilities of the ODIM MVP30 (near shore and harbour surveys) and the ODIM MVP200 (coastal and off shore surveys).  SMA is a Swedish public enterprise within the transport sector that works to keep the sea lanes open and safe.  They will use the ODIM MVP30-350 to optimize their hydrographic survey operations and acquire more accurate data for safety of navigation.

Various service contracts have been received and fulfilled including system upgrades and training for the NOAA Ship Fairweather (ODIM FFCPT and ODIM MVP upgrades), Fugro-Geoteam seismic vessel the Geo Celtic (MVP300 servicing), and Fugro Jacques Geosurveys (MVP30 training and installation).
