Petrobras' One-Year AUV Contract
C&C Technologies do Brasil, a subsidiary of C&C Technologies, Inc., was recently awarded a one-year AUV contract from Petrobras for the acquisition of deepwater high-resolution geophysical data. The contract requires multibeam, side scan sonar, and subbottom data to be collected with the C-Surveyor I AUV. The C-Surveyor I, mobilized on the R/V Rig Supporter, is currently completing AUV surveys under the one-year Petrobras contract. Donizeti de Jesus Carneiro, C&C do Brasil's General Manager, commented on the awarded contract: "Our team is extremely excited about the use of AUV data in Brazil. Over the last six months, we have completed several AUV projects for Petrobras and provided exceptional data throughout the deepwater region."
