Primagraphics Enhances Radar Display Software With ECDIS Kernel

Primagraphics has enhanced its Metroview radar display software with technology from SevenCs.
By utilising SevenCs' EC2007 ECDIS Kernel software development kit (SDK), users of Primagraphics Metroview software will now be able to import sophisticated electronic navigational maps and charts – available off-the-shelf from the hydographic offices of maritime nations – and display them alongside radar data and target overlays.
SevenCs' EC2007 ECDIS Kernel is a software module that contains the basic functions to read, display and modify digital charts, to perform navigational calculations and to read navigational sensor data. The EC2007 Kernel is employed by over twenty navigational equipment manufacturers to build ECDIS vessel traffic management systems, tactical consoles and integrated bridges.
