Repeat Order Success for AML’s SV Plus

OSIL has just received an order from Gardline for AML’s newly upgraded SV Plus sound velocimeter and a real-time data communications package for use at 5000m depth. As an existing customer of AML, this confirms the quality and performance of AML’s sound velocity products.
The new SV Plus includes an upgraded sensor made from hi-tech composite material.
It also offers a larger onboard memory at 64 Mb, with a unique USB port for high-speed data download to PC. The system is already well proven in the field, particularly in activities such as commercial echo sounding and swathe bathymetry. The SV Plus provides a field accuracy of 0.05 m/s and a precision level of 0.03 m/s.
