Reused 2007 Focuses on Contaminated Sediments
Public-Private cooperation in Sediment Remediation is the theme of the fourth European Conference on Contaminated Sediments, to be held 20th to 22nd June 2007. The Antwerp Harbour House is the conference venue, overlooking the oldest commercial port of Antwerp. The conference focuses on prevented contaminated sediments to be spread after disposal in waterways or sea.
The programme includes subjects like politics, business and sediments; international experiences; scientific, research and surveying and monitoring; projects, applications and case stories. There will be several excursions around the theme. Key note speaker is Marc van Peel, Senator in Belgium and Alderman of the City of Antwerp on Sediment Management by the Port of Antwerp.
