Saab Seaeye Not Linked to Saab Cars

As the turbulent business situation of the Swedish car brand Saab may be worrying to many people, Saab Seaeye tells us that there is no connection between Saab AB, the parent company of Saab Seaeye Ltd., and Saab cars owned by Swedish Automobiles.

The two companies became separate entities in 2000 after having shared a common history in the form of Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget, which was founded in 1937. Saab AB is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and is a leader in defence, aviation and security technologies.

Saab Seaeye Ltd. is the world's largest manufacturer of electric ROVs.
