Sampler for Harsh Environments

With its shortened path length and adaptive sampling the SUNA V2, presented by Satlantic, Canada, represents an advance in UV nitrate technology, thus broadening operational ranges to include extremely turbid environments. This highly anticipated UV nitrate sensor raises the bar for continuous nitrate monitoring and extended deployments in both freshwater and marine environments.

The SUNA V2 represents a solution for real-time nutrient monitoring. A wide range of optional features provides the ability to customise the instrument to meet specific research and deployment needs.

Features include:

  • optional reduced 5mm path length for turbid environments
  • adaptive sampling intelligence for high CDOM environments
  • active fouling control with fully integrated Hydro-Wiper
  • internal data logging and scheduling
  • freshwater & seawater calibrations
  • SDI-12 interface
  • USB communications
  • advanced processing algorithms

The SUNA V2 is complemented by the SUNACom software available for Windows 7/XP and Mac OS X.
