Sea Trials for Fukada Salvage ROV

Local sea trials and training have been completed for the new HYSUB ROV for Fukada Salvage and Marine Works, Japan. The next stop for this HYSUB ROV is Japan, where the customer’s local trials will commence. This 50HP 3,000m-depth vehicle will be the tenth ISE-built ROV for Fukada. ISE has also provided Fukada with a 3,000m-depth explorer autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV).

Fukada Salvage and Marine Works Co. Ltd. was established in 1910 and was originally based in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture. Originally concentrating on salvage alone, Fukada's operations expanded following reorganisation in 1949. The head office is in Osaka, Japan, and the business includes marine construction, bridge installation and civil engineering.
