SeaBat Orders for RESON

The Port of Tyne has ordered a Reson SeaBat 1801 Multibeam Echosounder system for their survey vessel MV Lynceus. The integrated swath system comprises a TSS MAHRS with Reson PDS2000 Data Acquisition and Processing system and an additional sound velocity profiler.
The Environment Agency in the UK has taken delivery of a SeaBat 8125 multibeam swath system. It will be used as a lightweight portable system for high resolution hydrographic surveys. As well as bathymetric sounding, the system will be used for engineering inspection surveys of vertical wall in canals and rivers, The SeaBat 8125 will allow the Environment Agency to inspect at high detail small natural and manmade features within their work scope, otherwise not visible using traditional survey techniques.
