Second Groundmaster System for DNREC

Sonavision Limited has supplied a second RoxAnn Groundmaster seabed classification system to the State of Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve, DNREC: Division of Soil and Water, doubling its survey capabilities for 2005/06 environmental research programmes. RoxAnn is used in by DNREC in Delaware Bay to survey pre and post-dredging and investigate the health and extent of shellfish beds to assist in the removal of undesirable organisms, such as sea lettuce. RoxAnn is now available in a number of formats specifically configured for hydrographic use, commercial fishing, dredging and environmental scientists.
