Septentrio Introduces Industrial GPS/Galileo OEM Receiver Platform

Sepentrio unveiled the AsteRx1 compact single-frequency GNSS receiver for industrial and professional applications. The credit sized OEM board AsteRx1 incorporates beside GPS functionality capabilities for full use of the European Galileo L1 signal. The device has according tot the supplier a low power consumption and high update rates, featuring all-in-view GPS and Galileo tracking and measuring capabilities, even in challenging environments. The device is compatible with the GIOVE-A signal and the operational Galileo signal. Shipping starts at the end of the summer of 2006.
