Side-Looking ADP Systems for NOAA/NOS

SonTek/YSI has sold three 500kHHz Long-Range SL-ADP systems to NOAA’s National Ocean Service (NOS). The instruments will be used to measure horizontal current profiles in support of the PORTS (Physical Oceanography Real-Time Systems) project in lower Chesapeake Bay. There are now thirteen SL-ADP systems in NOS/PORTS, in locations ranging from Delaware Bay to San Francisco Bay and Alaska.
