SIG 16 Streamers for Japan

The Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department of the Japan Coast Guard has purchased a new streamer, SIG 16.12.18, to use in sparker seismic survey. The SIG 16 streamers for JCG are specially modified to follow the customer's requirement for fast towing conditions. Their streamers have a specific, greater than standard, density, and a longer tail to counterbalance the swirling effect due to speed.
