Simrad Acquires Bennex Holland BV

In July 2003 Simrad purchased the company Bennex Holland BV, for many years distributor for Simrad products in the Benelux region. Wil van Druten, the companyÕs owner wished to retire and so it was natural for Simrad to acquire the company. Bennex Holland BV has changed name to Simrad BV, as from September 2003. Willem Koopmans assumes the position of General Manager as from 21st August 2003, with a staff of 22. Simrad expects the acquisition further to strengthen its profile and market position in the Benelux region.
