Sonardyne Introduces New Scout USBL Tracking System

A new Ultra-Short BaseLine (USBL) acoustic tracking system has been introduced by Sonardyne. SCOUT USBL has been designed as an entry-level product for organisations and business seeking to accurately track underwater targets such as divers, ROVs and towfish.
SCOUT provides the same high levels of accuracy as other Sonardyne USBL systems but incorporates features aimed at a different, but equally demanding, range of applications. These include educational and scientific organisations as well as users in the archaeology, salvage, AUV and oceanographic industries.
