SonTek Releases Two New Software Packages

SonTek/YSI, Inc. has announce the release of two software packages. First, brand new Windows based software has been developed for the real-time capture, visualization and export of data from one or more SonTek Acoustic Doppler Velocimeters (ADV). The second release is an updated version of its current surveying software, with added features to make coastal surveys easier.
HorizonADV 1.0 replaces SonTek’s older set of software for real-time ADV data capture.
Built specifically to run under Windows XP or 2000, HorizonADV captures data from one or more ADVs and can display virtually everything you could possibly want at one time. A powerful scripting capability allows the user to define their own variables when custom variables are required.
Version 4.0 of SonTek’s current surveying software for use by ADPs from moving boats has also recently been released. The interface has been redesigned to be highly intuitive. Depth sounder data can now be integrated in real-time and GPS data can be used for navigation with the inclusions of waypoints.
