Technical Adviser Appointed at IMCA

A new Technical Adviser, Paul Bayliss (35), has joined the expanding London secretariat of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA). He will help to manage the significant work programme of the Association supporting members towards safer and more efficient marine operations. These include offshore construction, dynamically positioned vessels, offshore diving, remotely systems and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and offshore positioning/surveying (hydrographic and condition survey).



Paul Bayliss most recently worked at Saipem UK Ltd where he was a Plough Chief Engineer from July 2007-August 2008 following which he became an Equipment Superintendent working in Stavanger. Prior to joining Saipem he joined CTC Marine Projects in late 2004, after working as a 2nd/3rd Engineer for various shipping companies, as an Assistant Support Engineer and was promoted to Base Supervisor in June 2005.
