The Society of Underwater Technology Honours

Richard Binks, IXSEA's UK Managing Director, has recently been honoured as a fellow for the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT). This award is in recognition of both the help he has given the society and to his experience in underwater technology. SUT is an academic organisation for all underwater technology from offshore oilfield development, to diving to offshore renewable energy. Richard sat on the Society's main committee for four years and is still part of their International Committee which looks after oversees development. Richard heads up both of IXSEA's UK offices and has recently recruited two new sales managers to his team. The new Aberdeen office, in particular, is focused on developing IXSEA's products within the offshore industry. The network created by SUT is a good focus for IXSEA's growing capabilities in underwater positioning and survey.
