Transas and Alphatron Start Partnership

During Europort Maritime 2007 Transas Ltd and Alphatron announced a partnership. The companies will develop the new system Alphabridge T, powered by Transas INS Network Solutions and JRC Radars.

The agreement will enhance and strengthen the position of both Transas and Alphatron for the supply of totally integrated bridge solutions for a wide variety of vessels. Alphatron will also act as a dealer for Transas navigation products in the Benelux area.

In recent years Alphatron has become a flexible system integrator and manufacturer of its own navigation sensors, such as gyro compasses, autopilots, a complete line of maritime instrumentation, and maritime internal communication solutions.
