Transas Moves to Ireland

As of July 2003, the International Headquarters of marine IT specialist, Transas, has moved to Cork, Ireland, a logical consequence of the company’s ongoing expansion into international markets. Today Transas is represented in some ninety countries world-wide, more Transas offices to be established over coming months. As the centre of international commercial operations, Ireland has the advantage of being located in the euro zone and offers a strong base of experienced, well-educated personnel from which to staff operations. The services that will be co-ordinated from the new Transas HQ in Cork include Business Services, Sales & Marketing, Project Management, Technical Support, IT and Corporate Administration, Financial Management, Logistics and Order Fulfilment. The existing Transas office in Portsmouth will host the growing Transas UK team, which requires more spacious facilities to meet the increasing demands of customers in the UK, Iceland, Southern Europe and the Mediterranean area.
