Two More GeoSwath Orders

Maritech (France) has issued GeoAcoustics (Great Yarmouth, UK) with an order for a GeoSwath shallow water wide angle bathymetric system.
Maritech are GeoAcoustic’s representatives in France and owner Bruce Swale will be offering this system for lease and to support his sales efforts within the country.
Projects already planned are a hydrographic survey of a harbour entrance in Corsica, a survey of a section of the navigable canals, surveying the diving areas in the Mediterranean in order to produce 3D diving charts, coastal surveys to locate objects on the sea bed, studies to determine the spread of harmful seaweed and general shallow water hydrographic studies.
Seatronics has also placed an order for the new GeoSwath plus system for its worldwide rental pool.
The system has also recently been ordered by the Royal Navy for installation at HM Training Group, HMS Drake, where it will undergo trials and assessment for future operational tasking.
Further sales to CIS in Spain, Osiris Projects in the UK and the Sarawak Marine Department in Malaysia completed a busy spring period for GeoAcoustics.
