USACE Galveston District Purchases Five Hydrolite Survey Systems

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Galveston District has acquired five HydroLite hydrographic survey systems. Each integrated hydrographic system was equipped with the SonarMite Echo Sounder and features a portable, integrated hydrographic survey solution that quickly measures and logs depths and is adaptable to any vessel.

Just prior to this, the USACE-Buffalo District acquired the HydroLite and HyDrone-RCV, which were connected with a Trimble data collector, a Trimble GPS with Bluetooth and Trimble Access software. Current U.S. Army Corps Districts using the HydroLite include Alaska, Buffalo, Galveston, Memphis, Philadelphia, Rock Island, and Sacramento.
