UTEC To Introduce Courses For Surveyors

UTEC responds to lack of personnel in the Offshore Survey Industry with dedicated training facilities and institution backed courses. The company have prepared a dedicated suite to accommodate up to twelve candidates each with integrated computing, video and audio stations. UTEC hope to make use of its Quayside facility and near shore survey vessel, Josephine, to provide practical course content in the near future. UTEC are currently running a number of courses designed to address the current offshore industry-wide skills shortage.
UTEC have already had significant interest in the 3 day Introduction to Offshore Surveying course from companies wishing for managers and offshore representatives to gain experience outside of their core disciplines.
