Veritas DGC Selects C-Nav GPS

The C-Nav GPS Division of C & C Technologies was recently awarded a contract to install C-Nav Worldwide DGPS on all seven seismic vessels operated by Veritas DGC. For redundancy, Veritas DGC has chosen to input two totally independent DGPS systems into their integrated navigation system. The integrated navigation system will weigh each solution equally to produce a combination position. However, if one of the systems is performing outside preset parameters it is eliminated from the solution. This technique allows for Veritas to have a true fully redundant position system.
