WriteGPS II

WriteGPS has been updated and now features two serial ports for data input. It may be connected simultaneously to a GPS receiver and a second instrument such as an echosounder, compass, altimeter, DMI or payout sheave. Enhanced WriteGPS II firmware additions will now compute offset position of a towed camera.
WriteGPS is an intelligent GPS video overlay and typewriter. The self-contained, 9-24 volt, palm sized unit overlays video with GPS time, date, position coordinates, altitude, depth and heading. WriteGPS accepts a standard PS2 (PC) keyboard to function as a video typewriter.
WriteGPS includes a unique coordinate conversion engine which transforms GPS output (Lat/Long only) to all NAD27 or NAD83 zones of the US State Plane Coordinate System and UTM coordinates.
WriteGPS accepts NMEA serial output available from most GPS receivers, including small handheld units.
