The first electricity link between the UK and Norway is to interconnect Nordic and British energy markets in a project involving, among others, MacArtney equipment fitted on board a multipurpose supply vessel. Sonardyne Navigation for Thai AUV Programme

Ltd, of Singapore has been selected to help navigate an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) being developed by a joint research programme between PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) and Kasetsart University (KU), Bangkok, Thailand. Dynamic Laser Scanning Set to Innovate Metrology Techniques

In December 2016, DOF Subsea (DOF) conducted a demonstration of dynamic underwater laser scanning as a replacement for traditional metrology techniques at The Underwater Centre in Fort William, Scotland. Sonardyne SPRINT-Nav for Resident ROVs

Innova AS has selected acoustic and inertial navigation technology from Sonardyne International Ltd., for two new in-field resident ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) being built. Hybrid Underwater Vehicle Combines AUV and ROV Capabilities

The 'Fusion' hybrid underwater vehicle is a real breakthrough. It uniquely combines autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) capabilities with diver navigation and propulsion into one system, thanks to Nortek’s DVLs. A non-magnetic sonar, equipped with navigation and communication systems, makes it easier for divers to locate submerged objects.
