After a few weeks of final adjustments to HYPACK 2015, the package now is released. The release of HYPACK 2015 software offers users amongst others real-time point cloud visualisation, and multibeam and water column data integration and playback. BlueView Technologies, USA, has updated the operating software for its 2D and 3D sonar systems. ProViewer 3.6 and ProScan 3.6 include multiple updates to improve processing speed and ease of use. The company is also introducing its new 3D point-cloud viewing software, BlueViewer, to quickly and easily view the output of BlueView BV5000 3D Multibeam Scanners and MicroBathymetric systems. Teledyne CARIS, a Teledyne Technologies company, has announced the release of HIPS and SIPSTM 11.3. This new software upgrade will introduce the first-ever COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) release of an AI solution for classifying and cleaning sonar noise. Teledyne CARIS seeks to reduce significantly the need for manual cleaning and to move data swiftly from acquisition to review.
