Scottish Government Awards OceanWise with 4-year GIS Marine Data Contract

OceanWise has been awarded the framework agreement for the provision of GIS marine data to the Scottish government. The company will be delivering marine mapping data products and services including Marine Themes Vector, Marine Themes Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Raster Charts and Raster Charts eXcluding Land (XL) to central government departments and agencies as well as regional councils, all of whom will benefit from having access to the data for decision support and asset management. Chart Distribution Contracts for EVG

East View Geospatial (EVG, USA) has entered into chart distribution contracts with Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). These charts are suitable for research and bathymetric purposes and as navigation aids. EVG has recently acquired all New Zealand (LINZ) nautical charts. These charts are available in paper format and in raster format. They cover the North and South Islands as well as Tonga, the Cook Islands, Southern Ocean, and Oceania, including Fiji. SeaZone Supports Campaign to Protect UK Seas

SeaZone is backing a major campaign to establish Marine Protected Areas around the UK. The specialist in marine information and mapping has donated highly detailed coastal maps of the UK to the Marine Conservation Society, a charity dedicated to protecting the seas, shores and wildlife. Maritime Toolbar (MTB) for Esri Users

UK-based OceanWise has developed a Maritime Toolbar (MTB) for ArcMap so maritime users on an Esri platform can take advantage of the functionality previously only available to Cadcorp SIS users.
